Traditionally, or at least from my (limited) experience, brand experience revolved and still revolves around offline events.
Getting people to physically interact with the brand in some way, 'spend time' with the brand.
But with people spending ever more time online, and have more meaningful experiences online, I think the potential for brand interaction online is becoming ever greater.
Check out this Guide to Social Media, and just think about the possibilities that these new developments can give for getting people to experience brands in a different way.

I'm really interested to see how far the environment within Second Life can be developed. It's an incredibly real virtual world, people spend days in there. They even have their own economy and exhange rate with the dollar - it's all in the guide above.
Cheers,
Steve
